How Long Until Your Jewellery Arrives
Every GH&H piece is lovingly handmade in my Manchester workshop using traditional jewellery craftsmanship methods. This is a labour-intensive process so please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for us to make your order for you.
Each Piece Unique
It all begins with a idea. Every design is first drawn by hand, then brought to life through wax carving, casting in precious metal, and careful hand-finishing. Each piece is designed using traditional techniques and quality materials in my Manchester workshop.

Creating Interesting Things For Interesting People
Jewellery Inspired by Art, Music, Folklore, Mythology, Nature
As a solo artisan, I am passionate about creating handmade silver rings that stand out from mass-produced jewellery. Every design starts as a sketch, often inspired by the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland and the detailed engravings of John Tenniel. My process combines lost-wax casting, meticulous hand-finishing, and an eye for detail to ensure that each ring is a unique expression of creativity. From the initial carving to the final polish, I handle every stage of the process myself, ensuring a personal touch in every piece.
Many of my designs draw on themes of British wildlife and storytelling, from the curious hare to other creatures of the natural world. My hare silver ring, for example, is directly inspired by Tenniel’s illustrations of the March Hare, bringing a sense of literary magic into wearable form. I believe that jewellery should be more than just an accessory—it should hold meaning, spark conversation, and carry a sense of individuality.
Whether you’re looking for a statement piece or a meaningful gift, my collection of handmade silver rings in Manchester offers something truly unique. Each ring is made to last, with care and attention to detail that ensures it will become a cherished part of your collection. I welcome commissions and love working with customers to create bespoke designs that reflect their personal stories and style.
Thank you for supporting independent makers. When you buy a handmade silver ring from me, you’re not just purchasing a piece of jewellery—you’re investing in craftsmanship, creativity, and a piece of Manchester’s artistic community.

We would recommend using one of our ring sizers.
A trick we like to use with our ring sizer is to place the sizer snug on the base of your finger, and then gently bend your fingers so your hand makes a fist. The gauge will open slightly and this will indicate just how generous we need to be with your ring size.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
-
We have placed size restrictions on our items to avoid compromising the integrity of the ring; if we increased or decreased the size of some designs it would distort the design.
